Oregon Trip

We had our family reunion in Oregon again but this time Zach and I flew in a couple of days early.  It was Zach's first plane ride and we were excited. The rest of the family drove up and met us a couple days later.

After the family arrived Tyler was able to have his Patriarchal Blessing given by his great-grandfather.  It was an amazing experience.  It was just Troy and I and Tyler and Great-Grandpa in the room but Grandma and Grandpa Watts  and Great Grandma Doty were there in the family room waiting to congratulate Tyler.

After the Blessing

When we come to Oregon we always have so much FUN!  There is a gas station that has cheap yummy ice cream cones and we try to get them as high as we can.  We even stop there frequently during our trip.

One of our other FAVORITE things to do is go to the 4th of July Rodeo while we are there.  Its a HIGHLIGHT of the trip!

 We also love to hike all the many beautiful trails outside of Portland.  We have a great time together.

 Sunday afternoon after church we met at the park for our BBQ and took family pictures.  After the BBQ Josh was able to get his patriarchal blessing from Great Grandpa too.  It was another amazing experience.  Josh was so excited and was so ready for this.  He was planning for this special experience about 6 months before.
