April.... Is it really the end of April already???

WOW, time has flown this month.  We have been so busy!! Let's see this month we spent Spring Break in Arizona.  Josh had his Regional gymnastic meet there.  That was an adventure.  On the drive down, Josh got really sick.  He was throwing up, couldn't keep anything down.  By the time we got to Arizona Friday evening, he had a really high fever also.  Troy had a friend who lived in Arizona come to the hotel and help him give Josh a blessing.  Troy left and took the other kids to dinner and I stayed with Josh who slept and slept.  He was burning up.  I was really worried about him there was NO way that he was going to be able to compete in a meet feeling the way he was unless there was a miracle.  Well, that's exactly what Josh got.  With his faith and all the -prayers from everyone who knew Josh miraculously started feeling a bit better by 8am.  By 10am he was up walking around.  He still wasn't 100% but by noon he was walking out on the gym floor ready to compete and do his best.  He was still really dizzy and had a fever but he took all of his strength and competed!! We were really proud of him.  I don't think I could've done it.  After the meet he still wasn't super well so he rested.  It took him another whole day to really feel better!!  Here are some shots of this cute ghost town that we had to walk thru to get to the gym meet!

  

We stayed at the Arizona Grand Resort that had an awesome water park only open to the guests so it wasn't overly crowded and it was really nice.  We got to spend 2 full days there, we were quite burnt but we had so much fun!!!

One of the evenings that we were there we were so lucky to be able to go to the Easter Pageant at the Mesa Temple.  It was fabulous!! At first the kids didn't want to go, it was so HOT outside and we needed to be there at least an hour before it started to get a good place to sit, but we went and got dinner and drug them there, during the show we asked them, "Are you glad we made you come?"  They all said YES!! It was so great to be there as a family on the temple grounds and watch such an amazing feature!  It will be something I won't ever forget.
