This year instead of going away for Labor Day we decided to invite family and friends here and camp out on our property. It ended up being more fun than we ever imagined. In fact I think we started a tradition. Jen and Mike, the kids and Cassie and Brent weren't able to make it and we missed them, but hopefully they will plan for next year.

We had 4 tents set up and my parents just blew up their mattress and slept under the stars. We had dutch oven lasagna for dinner with salad and garlic bread and then cobbler for dessert. In the morning we had french toast, and we BBQ'd for lunch. It was so much fun just hanging out in the back yard and enjoying every one's company. The kids had a blast, and the weather was perfect!!
